  • CE (European Union) CE (European Union)
    The CE marking is required for many products and attests the verification by a manufacturer that these products meet EU safety, health or environmental requirements. Therefore ensuring validity for that product to be sold throughout the EEA, the 27 member states of the EU and European Free Trade Association countries - Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein and Turkey.
    REACH (European Union) REACH (European Union)
    REACH is the European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2006). It deals with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical substances. The law entered into force on 1 June 2007. It applies directly in all 27 Member States of the European Union and also in Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway as member countries of the European Economic Area.
    WEEE (European Union) WEEE (European Union)
    The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) is the European Community directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) which, together with the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC, became European Law in February 2003. The WEEE Directive set collection, recycling and recovery targets for all types of electrical goods.
    RoHS (European Union) RoHS (European Union)
    The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive or RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union. The RoHS directive aims to restrict certain dangerous substances commonly used in electronic and electronic equipment. The RoHS Directive set restrictions upon European manufacturers as to the material content of new electronic equipment placed on the market.
