Ultra 4K HD Megapixel Wireless CCTV technology has evolved, so Multi-Megapixel cameras have transformed the CCTV industry. Ultra 4K High-definition (HD) or Multi-megapixel (MP) IP cameras are changing the way that CCTV works, making it more effective than ever before. These cameras offer a huge jump in image quality compared to conventional surveillance cameras, and are available in resolutions up to 16 MP. 16 MP is equal to 4872×3248 pixels, resulting in a resolution that contains over 50 times more detail than images captured with conventional CCTV systems.

The increased processor size and packet optimisation of the SilverNet PRO range allows for continuous video streaming. If the above image was captured by a standard camera a PTZ would be required to zoom into the details of license plates and faces, resulting in the loss of the rest of the picture.
