Compact yet powerful, reliable high-speed, and with a very low potential for interference, STREAM has a huge variety of benefits. These benefits span across a wide range of video and security installations, including town centres and ISPs.
The perfect solution for high-speed data links even in RF noisy urban environments, STREAM operates on the 60GHz band. This innovation allows you to stream your world and make use of SilverNet’s 60GHz Wireless Link, taking it a step above previous SilverNet, and competitors, products. Choose a Point to Point (PtP) or Point to Multipoint (PtMP) radio. You can rest assured that you’ll receive high-speed and high-quality connectivity. It is compatible with almost all installations.
In areas where 5GHz is having problems, or where OFCOM have complained about channel congestion, STREAM opens up an opportunity. It offers smoother and extremely reliable infrastructure. There is virtually no chance of interference issues. Using oxygen as a cleaner for the frequency enables much easier channel reuse, and the extended frequency option of 6 or 12 available channels is unbeaten by other products.
Additionally, the STREAM is two products in one. It is a 60GHz system and long-range link in the upper 2 channels. This enables use of SilverNet’s new wireless link to stream your world efficiently. The SilverNet difference is that STREAM 60GHz radios fully support all 6 channels. Also, 1/2 bandwidths are supported so 12 channels are available for use. SilverNet provides a link calculator to help show what can be expected for a given link. This also helps model different scenarios related to rainfall.
STREAM radios work seamlessly with SilverNet PoE industrial switches and are fully integrated into their NMS SilverView, so users can monitor link quality and throughput plus more from one simple to use free application.
